FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS A MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST?
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
MFT's are mental health professionals who treat individuals, families and couples with a wide variety of symptoms and goals. They are trained to recognize and understand symptoms and struggles within the context of relationships with others.
HOW DO I KNOW IF YOU ARE THE RIGHT THERAPIST FOR ME?
I offer a phone consultation prior to your first session in order for us to determine if we are a good fit for each other. Throughout therapy I invite you to give me feedback about how I can best support you.
I charge $150 per 45-50 minute session, payable by cash, check or credit card. At the end of each month I can provide a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I am unable to guarantee whether or not your insurance will provide reimbursement. Click here to learn about your right to a "good faith estimate".
WHAT TYPES OF CLIENTS DO YOU WORK WITH?
I find fulfillment in treating women's issues, with a particular focus on eating disorders and supporting women through the challenges of pregnancy and the postpartum transition. Providing compassionate care and tailored interventions to address these sensitive and complex issues brings me great satisfaction as a therapist.
