FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS A MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST?
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
MFT's are mental health professionals who treat individuals, families and couples with a wide variety of symptoms and goals. They are trained to recognize and understand symptoms and struggles within the context of relationships with others.
HOW DO I KNOW IF YOU ARE THE RIGHT THERAPIST FOR ME?
I offer a phone consultation prior to your first session in order for us to determine if we are a good fit for each other. Throughout therapy I invite you to give me feedback about how I can best support you.
I charge $140 per 45-50 minute session, payable by cash, check or credit card. At the end of each month I can provide a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I am unable to guarantee whether or not your insurance will provide reimbursement. Click here to learn about your right to a "good faith estimate".
WHAT TYPES OF CLIENTS DO YOU WORK WITH?
I provide therapy to individuals with a wide range of struggles, including anxiety and depression, relationship issues, eating disorders and those seeking support during important life transitions. I enjoy working with clients that are motivated and ready to create change. At this time, I do not provide therapy to children or couples.
